Dimensional Fund Advisors
Apollo D. Lupescu came on board with Dimensional in 2004 as a regional director in the Financial Advisor Services group. His primary responsibilities include developing relationships with interested financial advisors, guiding them through the firm's rigorous due diligence process, and then creating partnerships for long-term growth.
Before joining Dimensional, Apollo served in a variety of roles with the US Department of State and the White House, working with high-level officials including the president. His interests in finance and investments led him to teaching engagements at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as involvement in the private sector through his own consulting firm, Apollo Consulting Group. He received his Ph.D. in economics and finance from UCSB and holds a B.A. from Michigan State University, where he competed in and coached water polo.
