Apollo D. Lupescu is a member of the Investment Strategies Group, responsible for communicating Dimensional's academic foundations and investment beliefs. He works closely with clients to develop effective ways for financial advisors to illustrate an investment process that presents an alternative to the traditional Wall Street approach. Apollo frequently speaks at various industry conferences across the country, as well as advisor client events.

Apollo joined Dimensional in 2004 as a regional director, was manager of the client services team that provides support and analytical resources to financial advisors, and then oversaw the firm's advisor 401(k) business. Prior to joining Dimensional, Apollo served in a variety of roles with the US Department of State, from which he formed his own consulting firm, Apollo Consulting Group. His interests in finance and investments led him to teaching engagements at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Apollo received his PhD in economics and finance from UCSB and holds a BA from Michigan State University, where he competed in and coached water polo.
