Ashish Shrestha oversees the firm's efforts related to the advisor 401(k) business. He works directly with a select number of advisor clients with dedicated pension businesses, and he serves as a 401(k) resource for other advisors looking to enter the defined contribution market or expand their retirement plan business.

Prior to joining Dimensional as a regional director in 2008, Ashish was a principal with Mercer Investment Consulting, where he advised Fortune 500 plan sponsors and trustees on the management of their tax-qualified assets. His work with pension plans and endowments and foundations included manager and portfolio research, and investment policy development.

Ashish holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in economics and international relations from Claremont McKenna College.
