Craig Horvath coordinates and executes Dimensional's consultant relationship strategy in order to strengthen the firm's presence and connections within the global consultant community. He also manages the firm's global consulting group, integrating its efforts with the sales and PM teams, and works with internal groups on product design, sales, and client service programs. Prior to joining Dimensional in January 2011, Craig was a managing director at BlackRock, where he was co-head of global consultant relations within the global client group. He was also a member of the US institutional leadership team.
Craig began his career with Asset Strategy Consulting in 1994, where he advised institutional clients on investment policy, asset allocation, and investment manager structure. In 1997, he joined DLJ Investment Management as a vice president, where he provided client service and consultant coverage and assisted DLJIM to establish an institutional investment platform. In 1998, Craig moved to BlackRock, where he helped develop and ultimately led the firm's consultant relations and RFP team for the US and Canada, and then co-headed BlackRock's global consultant coverage group.
Craig holds an AB in English literature from Occidental College and an IBEAR MBA from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California. In addition, he is a CFA Charterholder; is Series 3, 7, and 63 licensed; and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
