As a regional director in Financial Advisor Services, Ed Foley works closely with broker/dealer home offices to develop and deliver strategies to recruit new advisor relationships and retain existing advisors with Dimensional. In addition, he educates broker/dealer staff and affiliated advisors on Dimensional updates, capital market behavior, and investment theory.

Prior to joining Dimensional, Ed worked as a senior vice president of First Trust Advisors L.P. and its affiliated firms, leading the firms' separate managed account and mutual fund business. Before that, he worked in business development and national account management roles at Federated Investors and Van Kampen Investments.

Ed earned his BBA in finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA in finance, economics, and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
