Frank Lao joined Dimensional's Investment Operations team in 2011. In his role, he interfaces with all relevant Dimensional personnel in all locations to help the firm achieve the best operational experience for our clients. Frank supports the sales and client service groups by identifying operationally suitable markets and opportunities, as well as providing valuable input to product structure and the related global operating model for the firm.

Prior to joining Dimensional, Frank was head of global operations at Janus in Denver and was responsible for regional operations teams based in Denver, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. In this role, he focused on the firm's outsourced third-party vendor strategy, global operational infrastructure, and new business/product implementation. He was a key contributor in building Janus' non-US business from scratch and was an active member of the international and US institutional leadership teams. Prior to his twelve years at Janus, Frank spent seven years at Merrill Lynch in Jacksonville, and in London within various operational and corporate finance roles.

Frank graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in finance.
