Vice president George Crane has significant senior leadership experience in investment operations, including both middle and back office, and defined contribution plan administration. Prior to Dimensional, George worked in Europe as managing director for State Street Bank's office in Amsterdam. George's experience covers both the mutual funds and institutional sides of our business.

Prior to State Street Bank, George was managing director and head of investment operations and administration for State Street Research and Management Company in Boston. George also spent fifteen years with Putnam Investments as a senior vice president leading various parts of their operations over the years, including institutional accounting, transfer agent control, the defined contribution plan administration business, and the self-custody business that supported the Putnam Mutual Funds.

George has an MBA from Babson College and a BS in business administration from Bryant University.
