Jan Snippe heads up the Dimensional SmartNest business in Europe. He came to the firm from Royal Philips Electronics, where he was head of corporate pensions. In this role, he was responsible for developing a company-wide pension strategy and ensuring that pension risk exposures were consistent with the company's overall risk policies.

Prior to Philips, Jan held a number of senior posts at Banque Paribas Nederland/Banque Artesia Nederland, including chief economist, head of research, director of institutional asset management, and managing director. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Groningen in Holland.
