Jason Lapping heads Dimensional's equity trading desk for the Asia Pacific. His focus is in ensuring the firm's execution strategies and technological infrastructure region meet the highest standards in the region.

Originally from South Africa, Jason studied economics at the University of Cape Town before moving to London to start his career in the financial sector. At Dimensional, he brings deep knowledge and experience of global markets, including the unique microstructure of those in the Asia Pacific region. This experience was garnered over fourteen years working around the world with Societe Generale in their equities derivatives division, and heading desks in London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Reporting to Glenn Crane in Sydney, Jason works with a local team of six traders and is an integral part of an international trading network headed by the London-based John Romiza.
