As defined contribution strategist and vice president in Institutional Services, Jerry Bramlett is focused on providing support to Dimensional��"s defined contribution and sales strategy. Prior to this role, Jerry collaborated with Dimensional's Managed DC team in building out its marketing strategy, as well as leading its US sales efforts, mainly in the Fortune 200 market.

Jerry has twenty-eight years of experience as an entrepreneur in the DC recordkeeping business, having founded The 401(k) Company, which grew to be the largest independent retirement-focused recordkeeping firm in the Fortune 1,000 market segment. Also, he founded and served as the president and CEO of NextStep, and served as president and CEO of BenefitStreet. Both are large, independent recordkeeping firms focused on the small to mid-size retirement market serving the investment advisor community.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences and a leading industry thought leader, Jerry was the only market insider called to testify before Congress in 2008 to provide expert testimony on the sudden market downturn and its impact on 401(k) participants. Jerry holds a BAS with highest honors from Southern Methodist University.
