As head of international trading, John Romiza oversees a team of eleven individuals who trade the firm's international equity order flow. His focus is upon ensuring that the firm's execution strategy and technological infrastructure are cutting edge in the local regions. John is a member of the Dimensional Fund Advisors Ltd. Management Committee and Investment Committee in London while also participating in a number of industry forums in Europe.

Prior to joining Dimensional, John served as senior vice president and director of European trading for Franklin Templeton. During his eight years with Franklin, John relocated and built the firm's European trading operation, which is now based in Edinburgh, Scotland. His responsibilities included full oversight of all European, Middle Eastern, and African equity trading for the parent organization. John received a BS in finance from Bentley College in Boston.
