As controller, Julie is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and taxation of the advisor and the US mutual funds. She works to analyze the cost and tax implications of decisions that affect our investment products. Julie also oversees payroll, accounts payable, insurance, purchasing, and SAS 70 functions. In this capacity, some of her responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the firm's accounting principles, procedures, and initiatives. In addition, she works with external auditors, evaluates internal controls, and supervises third-party accounting service providers.

Prior to joining Dimensional in 2005, Julie spent more than ten years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as an audit senior manager. Julie holds a BS in mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
