Stanley W. Black applies a background in financial economics and computer modeling to research projects Dimensional undertakes to improve the design and execution of new and existing strategies. Stan most recently served as an economic/securities litigation associate for economic consulting firm Analysis Group. He began his career as a fixed income analyst at Chemical Bank, specializing in high-yield research and trading.

Stan earned his PhD in economics with concentrations in finance and international economics from Stanford University and a BA in economics and mathematical science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
