Stephen A. Quance is a vice president and portfolio manager based in Singapore. His primary responsibilities are to manage client assets from Asia and assist in growing Dimensional's Asia ex-Japan franchise. Stephen joined Dimensional in 2006 and managed several mutual funds and institutional accounts from the Austin office before relocating to Singapore. Prior to joining Dimensional, he spent three years with UBS and also worked in the energy industry as a trader for Williams Companies, an engineer at Schlumberger, and at an alternative-energy startup.

Stephen earned an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business in 2002 with a concentration in finance, and also holds a BS in civil and environmental engineering from Rice University.
