After a short consulting period with Dimensional, Tony McFadyen joined the firm full-time in June 2012 to help bring Dimensional's unique Managed DC service to Australia. As a regional director for Dimensional SmartNest, Tony leads the introduction of Managed DC to Australia and New Zealand, and is responsible for developing and executing the Managed DC strategic business plan in Australasia. He works with both the Institutional Services and FAS teams to leverage existing, and build new, client relationships.

Over the past twenty-five years, Tony has worked with leading funds management firms such as QIC, Colonial First State Global Asset Management, Invesco, and ING. He has had an extensive career in financial services in Australia, covering capital markets, risk management, and sales and marketing management in wholesale and retail funds management.

Tony has an MBA from Macquarie University (1995), a bachelor of commerce in finance and systems from University of New South Wales (1984), is an MFTA (Member Finance and Treasury Association), and is a senior associate (SA Fin) of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
