As a research associate, Tu Nguyen provides tools for research and development of Dimensional's financial products. In this role, Tu helps develop investment strategies; analyzes pricing models based on Fama/French research; tests portfolio construction and management techniques based on financial models; and provides benchmark and performance analytics of different investment strategies for portfolio managers, institutional clients, and financial advisors.

Tu, a CFA Charterholder, earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994, and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001.
