Valerie A. Brown serves as deputy general counsel for Dimensional and is involved in managing the legal work of Dimensional and its subsidiaries. In this role, she is involved in the preparation of new product and corporate governance materials, business contracts, and related legal and regulatory matters. Valerie also serves as the primary legal liaison for Dimensional's Canadian business. Prior to joining Dimensional in 2000, she practiced with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, an international law firm.

Valerie holds a JD from Loyola Law School, where she graduated Order of the Coif, and a BA in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
