The World ex US Targeted Value Portfolio is a no-load mutual fund designed to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The portfolio seeks to achieve its investment objective through exposure to a broad portfolio of securities of non-US companies, with a focus on small and mid-cap value companies. The portfolio includes securities of companies in developed markets outside the US as well as emerging market countries. The portfolio may include securities of companies in frontier markets (emerging market countries in an earlier stage of development). An equity issuer is considered a value company primarily because it has a high book value in relation to its market capitalization. In assessing growth and value, Dimensional may consider additional factors, such as price-to-cash flow or price-to-earnings ratios, as well as economic conditions and developments in the issuer's industry. The criteria Dimensional uses for assessing value is subject to change from time to time. At inception, as a means to achieve broad diversification across international markets, the portfolio will invest substantially all of its assets in the DFA International Small Cap Value Portfolio, the International Vector Equity Portfolio, the Dimensional Emerging Markets Value Fund and the Emerging Markets Small Cap Series. The portfolio will begin purchasing securities of non-US operating companies directly once assets in the portfolio reach a level that allows for the desired diversification across the international markets. The direct purchase of these securities will depend on market movements and other factors that Dimensional will consider in seeking to efficiently manage the portfolio.

Market Risk
Even a long-term investment approach cannot guarantee a profit. Economic, political, and issuer-specific events will cause the value of securities, and the funds that own them, to rise or fall. Because the value of your investment in a fund will fluctuate, there is a risk that you will lose money.

Foreign Securities and Currencies Risk
Foreign securities prices may decline or fluctuate because of: (a) economic or political actions of foreign governments, and/or (b) less regulated or liquid securities markets. Investors holding these securities are also exposed to foreign currency risk (the possibility that foreign currency will fluctuate in value against the US dollar).

Small Company Risk
Securities of small companies are often less liquid than those of large companies. As a result, small company stocks may fluctuate relatively more in price. In general, small companies are also more vulnerable than larger companies to adverse business or economic developments and they may have more limited resources.

Value Investment Risk
Value stocks may perform differently from the market as a whole and following a valueoriented investment strategy may cause the Retirement Equity Portfolio and the Underlying Funds to at times underperform equity funds that use other investment strategies.

Emerging Markets Risk
Numerous emerging countries have recently experienced serious, and potentially continuing, economic and political problems. Stock markets in many emerging countries are relatively small, expensive and risky. Foreigners are often limited in their ability to invest in, and withdraw assets from, these markets. Additional restrictions may be imposed under other conditions.

Fund of Funds Risk
The investment performance of each Portfolio is affected by the investment performance of the Underlying Funds in which the Portfolio invests. The ability of a Portfolio to achieve its investment objective depends on the ability of the Underlying Funds to meet their investment objectives and on the Advisor's decisions regarding the allocation of the Portfolio's assets among the Underlying Funds. There can be no assurance that the investment objective of any Portfolio or Underlying Fund will be achieved. Through their investments in the Underlying Funds, the Portfolios are subject to the risks of the Underlying Funds investments. The risks of the Underlying Funds may include Market Risk, Small Company Risk, Risks of Concentrating in the Real Estate Industry, Emerging Markets Risk, Interest Rate Risk, Credit Risk, and Risks of Banking Concentration. For more details regarding these risks, please see the DIG Global Portfolios Prospectus.

Tax Advantage Strategy Risk
An investment strategy that considers the tax implications of investment decisions may alter the construction of the fund and affect fund holdings, when compared to those of non-tax-managed mutual funds. Dimensional anticipates that performance of the fund may deviate from that of non-tax-managed mutual funds.
